Fostering Tea Session (Hwee Ling)

30 April 2016 - Hwee Ling first fostered with Sanctuary House and then with MSF. Hwee Ling shared how God burdened and led her and her husband to care for vulnerable children. She also shared how they were initially concerned about whether they could show love to a child that is not their own, and whether they would wind up compromising on the commitment and time for their own biological children. They soon found their concerns unfounded. They, including their children, grew to love their foster child.

Some of the participants asked about the challenges of fostering and how they were overcome. The foster parents present unilaterally attributed the source of their strength to God. They also encouraged potential applicants to trust the Lord to provide for whatever they need in order to participate in this ministry.
