Fostering Tea Session (Lynette Chiu)

4 April 2015 - At our Intro Tea today, Lynette Chiu shared that she stepped forward to foster after helping out as a volunteer tutor in a Voluntary Children's Home. Kids would tell her elaborate stories about home-leave with their parents over the weekend, which staff said were all made-up and didn't actually happen.
It was then Lynette realized that children have such a deep need to belong to someone and to have a family. Truly, "He sets the lonely in families" Ps 68:4. She has since fostered 5 kids over the past decade.
